Fitness Friday - Fitness February Complete, March Challenge started

I've been a bad blogger and a bad tweeter! My problem is I can't do everything 100% all the time. Lately, I've been focusing on the kids and I've been planning family activities for March and April, before I go back to work so then I find my blogging suffers. Or if I'm on top of blogging and tweeting I'll be lacking somewhere else. That balancing act is a struggle for me. So I'm just gonna catch up today!


Fitness February was a success for me! I exercised every single day in the month of February, no matter how tired I was I got up and did some exercise. Knowing that I wanted to complete Fitness February really made me keep at it. Because I really stayed on track with Fitness February I decided to do a new challenge for March! I still haven't figured out a name, so if you have any ideas, let me know! Anyway, I decided not to eat out for the entire month of March. Usually, we eat out 1-2 times every weekend and sometimes during the week I'll eat out with my parents or if I'm out with the kids I'll grab a quick bite. So far this month I have not eaten out! I can do this! I think this will be really good for me, to think more about planning ahead and not just grabbing a bite because it's easy. I'll keep you posted!

As for exercise, well I haven't done anything since Sunday (last day of February)! How terrible is that? I cannot believe this. I've been so exhausted all week (from not exercising probably) and just freaking lazy. So now I feel worse because I haven't exercised and on the other hand I think how can I get up and exercise, I'm so lazy. Wow that's embarrassing but I'm putting it out there!

I'll be starting a 30 day challenge on EA Active Personal Trainer soon with @El1217 and @ocwiifitgal and I think that will be good, to get back into a routine and have something that keeps me on a schedule.

I'm also going to start running during the week again, next week. I'm going to run Tuesdays and Thursdays with Conor in the jogger stroller again. I had stopped doing that because it was just too cold for him, but it's been getting a bit warmer here so next week I'll get back out there!

I looked up spinning class, but the ones at the community centres were only during the week, and I still don't know what my schedule will be like when I go back to work, so I don't want to sign up if I won't be able to make it.

I have my workout clothes on, and as soon as Caleb goes for his nap after work I'll do some exercise!

  1. I LOVE the slideshow of pics I find that I REALLY need a schedule or I get so behind. I find posting a week's worth of posts on the weekends helps the most.
