I've been a bad blogger and a bad tweeter! My problem is I can't do everything 100% all the time. Lately, I've been focusing on the kids and I've been planning family activities for March and April, before I go back to work so then I find my blogging suffers. Or if I'm on top of blogging and tweeting I'll be lacking somewhere else. That balancing act is a struggle for me. So I'm just gonna catch up today!

2010 already? Seriously?
As you can see I have not posted since December, my in-laws arrived from Ireland December 11th, they left December 27th, so we were very busy the last few weeks and my husband is still off work which has been so wonderful. So we've been having family time and I've been away from the computer. But I'm back and ready for the new year!
Happy New Year to all of you out there! I hope everyone enjoyed ringing in 2010 and I wish everyone health, love and happiness for this new year.
I'm honestly flabbergasted that it's January 2010. I was thinking that the next holiday will be Easter and last Easter I had just finished work before Conor was born in May. Anyway, I know EVERYONE has written their blog post about their goals and resolutions for 2010 and I'm going to do the same. I really need to write things down and list things, I love making lists! :)

I take it back, I AM a Runner!
My fitness goal is to run a half marathon and I've been slowly building up my mileage every week and sort of working on my speed. I'm running a 10k race in three weeks so I've been really trying to get quality runs in. Since getting back to running in August I ran my first 10k non-stop on Friday and was really proud of it, I had to blog about it! So this is a bit of an update from that post.

Renewed Focus and Strength
On Wednesday I was feeling like crap because of my weigh-in and because I've been stuck for a couple of months at this weight, not going anywhere. I lost my focus a bit with my running and the Wii. Thursday was a new day. I dropped my 2yo at daycare, got home, ate breakfast, fed my 5 month old and got him in the jogger stroller. With my ipod charged up I was ready to tackle a 12km or 13km run.
